Contemplation

First of all I need to give credit to for the stock image for the background. This would not have been possible without his image.

I started this as just a sketch of the character, but it turned into a whole project with the background and everything. I had a colored drawing all done in Prismacolor markers and pigment pens for lining. I scanned it and edited it in GIMP with mainly the threshold effect (equivalent to the one in Photoshop). I hope you guys like it, and feel free to comment!
