Anatomy practice sketch [incomplete]

Here is the start of my new sketchbook that I started. I guess this is the first I've sumbitted anything in almost a year. The face I didn't use any sort of reference for, but the body I did use a reference (I really need improvement on body anatomy...). Any comments or suggestions for learning anatomy are appreciated! Have a great day viewers, and keep looking back for more sketches...I will try to upload them as I draw them (granted they aren't embarassingly bad...).

Sketchbook: Strathmore Sketch paper (fine tooth surface)
Pencil: .5 mm mechanical pencil
